Ruhligs is a small family farm in Dexter. The tradition started with the Ruhligs’ grandparents growing fruits and vegetables, and the start of a new family farm in 2001. Daughters Janelle and Danielle grow gladiolas and a wide variety of vegetables as well, supporting their parents business. Sweet corn and tomatoes our the most popular products, though they have spinach, herbs and other greens at the market now.

Back Forty Acres is a family-owned farming venture whose vision is to produce good tasting meat and poultry products for the local community, raised naturally – on pasture and with natural feeds – humanely – done in a sustainable fashion.
