Where:  Palmer Commons Event Space, 304 S. Main St.

When: 8 am – 1 pm every Saturday through October

Who: YOU! Plus the best farmers, artisans and specialty food curators around!

Youth Business Day!: 8-12pm (or until they sell out). We are showing our young entrepreneurs how to make a start by setting up a booth and working to sell their hand crafted goods. If you purchase more than $15 with a regular Saturday vendor you will get one FREE $1 coupon to spend at a Youth Booth ONLY. Come check in at the market booth for more details and help support growing business minds! 

Fashion & Home Show: 11-11:30 am. This week we will be supporting downtown businesses by hosting a 30 minute fashion/home show with Gary Munce as MC. You will be able to view various clothing, home goods, children’s goods and more on local models! Shop local expanded…

Music: Tom Hodgson. This guy is incredible. Fun, playful and just lovely. Come on out and listen to his tunes starting at 10:30.

Hot Food!: Roaming Goat has sadly decided that their plates are full with the brick and mortar in Grasslake. We will no longer have their tasty burritos to fill bellies. But be sure to visit them at their cafe when you get a chance! https://www.facebook.com/drinkroaminggoat/

TANTRE FARM: green and yellow beans, bulls-eye, red and golden beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, collards, sweet corn, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, kale, leeks, lettuce, green onions, red and yellow onions, potatoes, summer squash, raspberries & blackberries (maybe), all kinds of tomatoes, zucchini, watermelon, and lots of fresh herbs like basil, parsley, rosemary, sorrel, chives, oregano, thyme, and peppermint.  We also will be distributing CSA Shares and will offer prorated shares all summer long!

SHORELINE WILD SALMON!: Back this week with my favorite protein. I am not sure when they will be back after this, so come and get your freezer full with this delicious wild caught, flash frozen or smoked Alaskan Salmon. 

DEXTER FOLSOM: (maybe) Dexter makes lovely bird houses that you will adore. He needs to restock, so may be absent this week.

RATERMAN BREAD: Nick has delicious fermented sourdough artisan breads. His flavors this week will be Original, multigrain, asiago rosemary and kalamata olive. Look for rye wheat and sesame in the future!

KAPNICK ORCHARDS: All the fruits! They have such a wide variety of offering. Blueberries, raspberries, (limited) blackberries, (maybe) peaches, first of the apples and more.

SHAW CREEK WOODS: David will be present with his awesome adirondack and michirondack chairs along with a smattering of other hand crafted wood pieces.

JACOB’S FRESH FARM: Seasonal produce, eggs and honey! He will be offering a fall/winter CSA this year as well so be sure in inquire!

HOPPY SOAP: Stephanie has an talent for alchemy with her bar soaps and lip balms. Check out her selection of smells and walk home feeling cleaner already!

FLUFFY BOTTOM FARM: Delicious hand made feta, gouda, yogurt and more! Look for this long time staple of the Saturday Chelsea Market!

COUNTRY HILLS POTTERY: Maureen has a great talent with her hand thrown clay. She has everything from hanging baskets, to lamps and jewelry holders. Her style is her own and she has beautiful pieces.

H&H SUGARBUSH: yummy maple syrup. yummy maple candies. Don’t miss out on getting your fill this week!

SWEET AND SALTY COOKIE COMPANY: Jeff and Jocelyn are new to the outdoor market and bring a delicious homemade cookies: chocolate chip, M&M, double dip chocolate chip, store’s, dark chocolate pecan, maple oatmeal raisin, peanut butter and snickerdoodle!

HANKRA JEWEL: Come out to see these two and their amazing silver and copper crafted wearable and hanging art! Rings, necklaces, bracelets and more. Stacey even won best Jazz Vocalist at the Detroit Jazz awards last week! Give a shout out to this sister and get some lovely art to boot!

PARA PARA CREAMERY!: Po Erlich is bringing his amazing cheese to both Wednesday and Saturday Market this year. Feta, feta spread, cheddar and gouda are his main staples along with brie, blue, swiss, mozzarella and asiago! Don’t miss his magic.

BRIELAND-SHOULTZ FARM: Greg and Joan offer free-range eggs, pasture raised poultry, and grass fed beef at both Saturday and Wednesday markets! They also raise chemical free, seasonal veggies and CSA. Goats milk soap and jam with the occasional sourdough pepper their table throughout the season.

TWO TRACKS ACRES: on break this week – look for Youth Business Day entrepreneurs in their space!

LAVENDER AND HONEY: Angela has got you covered with her amazing body care offerings. From deodorant to lip balm, bath bombs to bar soap all products are made with natural and organic ingredients, wild foraged and crafted with love.

LAKEHOUSE BAKERY:  so much delicious bread, croissants, macrons, sauces, chutney and more! Don’t forget to ask Keegan about his Friday and Saturday night pizza.

HEIM GARDENS: a family business specializing in flowers and vegetables grown in the greenhouses and the field.

GOETZ GREENHOUSE: Sweet Corn, tomatoes, green beans and the rest of our delicious summer veggies. This centennial farm operation is such a delight.

HANDMADE AND HOMEGROWN: Anna has a small scale fruit and veggie operation along with her lovely hand knit items. This week she is looking to have green and purple beans, jalapeños, and maybe raspberries

SMELLZ SO GOOD CANDLE CO.:  amazingly delicious smelling soy candles made from the finest ingredients and sourced to burn clean and lift your spirits! Kim and Carlton are so amazing and their candles are a reflection of that.

BORDINE FARMS: gorgeous Dahlia bouquets! 

AFFEATHERMATIONS:(**weather permitting) smudge sticks, fans and burn bowls, bark art, meditation wheels, rattles and other gourd products! Come visit Joan and her beautiful goods.

STONEHEARTH BAKERY: Adam has pepperoni rolls, cinnamon buns, a wide variety of breads, cookies and more! All artisan made and preservative free.

LAKE DIVIDE FARM!: Jim and Helen grow certified organic, seasonal vegetables in Stockbridge and have an amazing team of passionate farmers to support their efforts! They offer a flexible market-based farm membership and are committed to enriching the lives of their community by growing delicious, healthy and affordable produce while caring for the natural world.
