Farmers Market Saturday July 6th!

Greetings all –


HOT! Despite feeling like we are melting away, hot means amazing summer fruits! Think raspberries, tomatoes, peppers, summer squash, strawberries, cucumbers and cherries! Garlic is getting harvested too (my favorite!) and plenty of delicious herbs. Come out to the market to stock up on all the goods; like fresh coffee, live music, beautiful artisan works, and your favorite community members!

NEXT week will be YOGA ON THE LAWN again. Don’t miss a stellar class with our darling Sue from 7-8am. Then shop the market to start your weekend right.

Hot Food!: Roaming Goat has to take a break for the month – you can expect them back the first weekend in August! 

Children’s Tent: David is on break this week, but at the market tent come grab a self led scavenger hunt to win a sticker! 

With no further ado…

TANTRE FARM: Fava beans, golden beets, red beets, Bok choy, broccoli, cabbage, Swiss chard, collards, cucumbers, fresh garlic, kale, lettuce, mushrooms (maybe), green onions, NEW potatoes, radishes, summer squash, spicy greens, spinach, strawberries (maybe), white salad turnips, zucchini, and lots of fresh herbs like parsley, rosemary, sorrel, chamomile for (sleeping tea), chives, oregano, thyme, and peppermint.  We also will be distributing CSA Shares and will offer prorated shares all summer long!

*RATERMAN BREAD: Nick is back with delicious fermented sourdough artisan breads. His flavors this week will be Original, multigrain, asiago rosemary and kalamata olive. Look for rye wheat and sesame in the future!

KAPNICK ORCHARDS: Strawberries! Raspberries! Cherries! Sugar snap peas, sweet treats and nut butters

SHAW CREEK WOODS: Hand crafted Adirondack chairs, Michirondack chairs, signs and more.

JACOB’S FRESH FARM(maybe): Seasonal produce, transplants, eggs and honey!

THISTLE BLOSSOM HERBAL: Boo Boo fix it sticks, Lavender Linen Spray (no oils, won’t stain), healing moisturizing body balms, Go Away Bug Spray – deter those ticks, fleas and mosquitoes, Lip Balms, Body Oil Blends, Board and Spoon Butter – your wooden kitchen utensils need love too!, and so much more. FLUFFY BOTTOM FARM: Kelli Conlin has been bringing the Chelsea Market her creamery goodies for several years. Try her artisan cheeses and hand made yogurts. 

SWEET AND SALTY COOKIE COMPANY: Jeff and Jocelyn are new to the outdoor market and bring a delicious homemade cookies: chocolate chip, M&M, double dip chocolate chip, store’s, dark chocolate pecan, maple oatmeal raisin, peanut butter and snickerdoodle!

PARA PARA CREAMERY!: Po Erlich is bringing his amazing cheese to both Wednesday and Saturday Market this year. Feta, feta spread, cheddar and gouda are his main staples along with brie, blue, swiss, mozzarella and asiago! Don’t miss his magic.

LA BAGUETTE: a small bakery specializing in French baked goods, Lisa and Suzanne invite you to come and sample their products! They will have baguettes, rye-sesame boules, madeleines, sablés, honey roasted peanut cookies, gâteau breton, sorta di ricotta e ciocolate, gâteau aux fruits, brioche, and savory tarts

BRIELAND-SHOULTZ FARM: Greg and Joan offer free-range eggs, pasture raised poultry, and grass fed beef at both Saturday and Wednesday markets! They also raise chemical free, seasonal veggies and CSA. Goats milk soap and jam with the occasional sourdough pepper their table throughout the season.

HOPPY SOAPS, LLC: Stephanie will be on break for the next few weeks! Check back to see when she will be at market again next!.

TWO TRACKS ACRES: Taik and Stephanie take a holistic approach to farming, which means they value diversity in their environment. They use natural methods to raise animals on pasture, and grow a number of different veggies and flowers. 

AWAKENED PROVISIONS: Kelsey is bringing her gluten free cookies, granola, and savory muffins along with dry herbs and teas, flavored vinegars and love of health to the market this year! 

LAKEHOUSE BAKERY:  (Keegan will be set up across the aisle from where he has been – keep your eyes peeled and never fret, he is still at market!) so much delicious bread, croissants, macrons, sauces, chutney and more! Don’t forget to ask Keegan about his Friday and Saturday night pizza.

HEIM GARDENS: a family business specializing in flowers and vegetables grown in the greenhouses and the field.

GOETZ GREENHOUSE: centennial family farm with three generations operating the beautiful greenhouses and fields. Natural growing practices for all seasonal veggies, CSA shares, hanging baskets, cut flowers and starts.

COUNTRY HILLS POTTERY: Beautiful wheel thrown functional pottery! 

DEBBIE’S BEAD DESIGN: Debbie enjoys handweaving or sringing her bracelets and necklaces made from mostly swarouska crystals and sterling silver findings. Her earrings are added bonus as she tries to match them to the other jewelry!

HANDMADE AND HOMEGROWN: Anna has a small scale fruit and veggie operation along with her lovely hand knit items.

SMELLZ SO GOOD CANDLE CO.:  (these folks have also moved from the grass down to the main drag of market, you can find them up by the market tent this week) Kimberly and Carlton are bringing slow burning soy wax candles and wax melts to both the Saturday and Wednesday Markets! The smells are amazing and their personalities

BORDINE FARMS: Duane will be taking a short break as he awaits the arrival of cut flowers for making gorgeous bouquets! Look for him (likely) next Saturday.

AFFEATHERMATIONS:(**weather permitting) smudge sticks, fans and burn bowls, bark art, meditation wheels, rattles and other gourd products! Come visit Joan and her beautiful goods.

STONEHEARTH BAKERY: Adam is taking a much needed break! Look for him both next week and this Wednesday to come.

LAKE DIVIDE FARM!: Jim and Helen grow certified organic, seasonal vegetables in Stockbridge and have an amazing team of passionate farmers to support their efforts! They offer a flexible market-based farm membership and are committed to enriching the lives of their community by growing delicious, healthy and affordable produce while caring for the natural world. 

H&H SUGARBUSH: Two weeks in a row! Maple syrup! Maple candies and confections too. Don’t miss your chance to stock up while these folks are here!

LAVENDER & HONEY APPOTHECARY: Herbs are Angela’s passion. She believes our bodies deserve products with ingredients form the best sources and as pure as nature intended. Look for bar soaps, face wash, bah bombs, body and line sprays, lotions, bug repellent, salve, deodorant and more.
