**Our children’s tent is in need of empty and clean(ish) 2 liter bottles or milk jugs. If you happen to have one or two for our DIY composter project next week, we would be grateful! You can bring it to market tomorrow or Wednesday or get in touch with one of us!

My colleagues at Chelsea Hospital and the SRSLY team are hosting another FREE Question, Persuade, Refer Suicide Prevention training this month!

  • 5:30 – 6:30 pm
  • Location: Manchester District Library Village Room, 912 City Rd, Manchester, MI 48158

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) teaches participants how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
Course Topics:

  • The common causes of suicidal behavior
  • The warning signs of suicide
  • How to get help for someone in crisis and other information on preventing suicide
  • Learners complete a 1-hour instructor led training session.

**VOLUNTEERS: Sunday September 10th mark your calendar for our Farm to Table dinner. The event will take place at Alber Orchard in Manchester this year – I just caught wind of the potential menu and it is sounding DELICIOUS! With your volunteer efforts you will receive a meal, so click here or reach out if you are interested in helping! We need volunteer servers the most, so if you have experience we would love to have you part of our team!
