The Wednesday Farmers Market (formerly called the Bushel Basket Market) has been open since 2007. The Chelsea Community Hospital first took this market on with demand from the farmers and the community. Now home to over 20 vendors, the Wednesday market is a thriving and bustling mid-week market that is woven with the Saturday market both fiscally and with vendor overlap.

Our Wednesday vendors provide a variety of local products and produce, and are some of the hardest working and delightful folks you will meet! Monthly music, market basket giveaways and other special events help create a real sense of place in this market location.
