– University of Michigan Public Health will be joining us with a community survey!
Students participating in a summer program at University of Michigan are partnering with Michigan Medicine to explore areas of improvement pertaining to housing within Washtenaw County. The sole goal of the survey administration is to ensure that there is a better understanding of what the community wants and needs to elevate housing within Washtenaw County.
The information will be reviewed and analyzed by students and presented to Michigan Medicine. That data will then be reviewed and used by staff to help guide real implementation strategies and decision-making around housing and other health priorities.
– The Chelsea Hospital is our #1 donor and as our fiscal agent we have more support from them than we could ever ask for!
-Our partners also bring so much to the table and allow the market wheels to turn. The Chelsea State Bank, The City of Chelsea/DDA, The 5 Healthy Towns Foundation, The Chelsea Police Department, and The Chelsea Update are also high on the list of market partners. They each provide a different level of service to our market and we are grateful! Eder & Diver Insurance Agency (for helping find grant dollars to support our food assistance programs!)
-Last, but not least, our sponsors! These are the community members and businesses that love our mission. Thank you Larry and Stephanie Doll, Lotus Gardenscapes, Becky Crump and Paul Gottschalk and Amy Zoran for your contributions to helping make our market run!
