- Marge Mills and her Good Times Kettle Corn is this week’s featured vendor at the Wednesday Bushel Basket Farmers Market

Marge Mills, the owner of Good Times Kettle Corn began her business in June, 2009.
Kettle corn is a sweet-and-salty variety that is mixed with a light-colored refined sugar, salt, and oil. Mills started selling kettle corn at fairs and festivals until a friend suggested for her to work at a farmers market.
Once taking the initiative, she enjoyed the company of other vendors and local people who stop by to check out her kettle corn. Going from market to market, she liked working in an environment where she meets a lot of new genuine customers.
What she finds challenging is the variation of how many people stop by her vendor every week while trying to manage in the summer heat and constantly working in long sleeves, gloves, and a face mask in the heat of cooking kettle corn. However, no matter the obstacles along her way, she still keeps things poppin’ with kettle corn.
