February 2024 Newsletter

What wonderful sunshine we have been bestowed with! My heart is full. Gearing up for our winter events and planning for our opening market days has me all sorts of nostalgic, hopeful and ready for the bounty to come!

2024 Market Information:

    • Wednesday Markets have a NEW TIME! That is correct, after many hours and years tracking and talking we have decided to switch the hours of our Wednesday market:
      • 1010 S. Main St @ the CSB parking lot – same awesome location
      • 10 am -3 pm – this is the time we have seen the most foot traffic and has driven our decision – please help us spread the word!
      • Start Date May 1st!
    • Saturday Markets will remain the same:
      • 304 S. Main St @Palmer Commons Event Space, downtown Chelsea
      • 8am-1pm
      • Start date May 4th!
    • Both markets run through the end of October
    • We would love to see your applications – visit our website here to access.
    • A big shout out to the City of Chelsea for approving our use of space at Palmer Commons and our use of Space at the Chelsea State Bank – we are forever grateful for your continued partnership!
        • Speaking of partnership…besides the city, we would like to thank The 5 Healthy Towns Foundation, The Chelsea Hospital and The Chelsea State Bank for being such stellar supporters and partners of our markets as well!

IN OTHER NEWS:

  • Do you love the market, love kids and want to spend some time helping run our Children’s Tent activities this summer? We are looking for fun and excited individuals to help make it all work. Not a long term commitment, this is perfect for anyone who wants to be of service even just one week.
  • Our very first pop up of the season will take place on Sunday, February 18 from 11-3:30 at the old Historic Train Depot in Chelsea. We will also be hosting one there on March 17 and April 14! Don’t miss some of your favorite vendors – Smiling Jim’s, Homestead, Tantre, Becky’s Birds and Bees, Brieland-Shoultz, La Baguette and MORE…
  • Our annual CSA Fair will be taking place on Sunday, February 25 from 10 am – 1pm at Agricole Farm Stop. Come out and meet your farmer, learn about their practices and have a chance to sign up for their CSA share. CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is the best way to help decrease risk factors for your farmer and yourself as you move through the abundance of the growing season. Grab a cup of Joe from Agricole and chat it up with your local producers!
  • As always, we are looking for our 2024 sponsorships! Any amount helps keep all of the wheels turning here at the market – from Children’s Tent supplies, to Market Music, to Marketing every dollar keeps us within budget and working to serve you all and our vendors the best we can! Click here for more information about how you can continue to support us!Thanks for being such stalwart customers and community members – our market is nothing without YOU!

See you this weekend…

Best,
Angie & Emily
