HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I sure hope that the start of this fresh new year has you all feeling grateful for all that surrounds you. I know that this time of year can be very difficult for some; your Farmers Market community is here to support you if this is the case. Now that market is on hold until the spring, feel free to reach out with questions, concerns, ideas or just plain connection!
coordinator@chelseafarmersmkt.org is the best email to get me. I am here!
Did you know that Chelsea will soon be opening its arms and doors to a brand new food market called Agricole? That delicious building on the corner of Main and Jackson that has been slowly looking sharper and sharper each month will soon be home to an Argus Farm Stop modeled market (think late spring if all the pieces fall together). The team that has been working to bring this to you is one of very passionate and driven community members who value local, accessible produce and products-such a synergistic fit with the markets! I couldn’t be more thrilled about this and am excited to share it with YOU all- critical players in the food and farming scene here. For more information visit

Our outdoor market place will be up and running again the first weekend in May at the new Palmer Commons! More details to come in the weeks and months ahead.
Thank you so much for your continued support and love as the market closes out another stellar season!
Special Thanks to: the City of Chelsea, Chelsea State Bank, St. Joseph Mercy, Inc., 5 Healthy Towns Foundation, Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, Chelsea School District, The Chelsea Area Garden Club, Trinh Pfifer at the Seniors Center, Jill Schaefer, Chelsea Update, Surelutions, Chelsea District Library, Washtenaw County Health Department, Shawn Personke and ALL of our amazing and hard working vendors (I am sure that I am missing someone(s)…but know that you are appreciated!). Without these valuable players and contributors our market would not be what it is.
Cheers!
